Vitamin B12 and Folate

To diagnose the cause of anemia or neuropathy (nerve damage), to monitor nutritional status in some patients, or to monitor the effectiveness of treatment for B12 or Folate deficiency.

Test Requirements

A fasting blood sample is needed.

Preparation for Your Test

Do not eat or drink anything 12 hours prior to your test.
Wear a short sleeved shirt or a shirt with sleeves that roll up easily.

Cost

The cost of this test is $30.00.
