High Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein

High sensitivity c-reactive protein (hsCRP) looks for inflammation in the blood vessels that could signal a higher risk for heart attack and stroke. hs-CRP is promoted by some as a test for determining the potential risk level for cardiovascular disease, heart attacks, and strokes.

Test Requirements

Blood sample.

*In addition, you should be healthy at the time of the sample collection, without any recent illnesses, infections, inflammation, or other tissue injuries.

Preparation for Your Test

Wear a short sleeved shirt or a shirt with sleeves that roll up easily.

Cost

The cost of this test is $30.00.
